No more wine stains on the table-cloth and stains on the table
Functional and elegant coaster from Menu

A single drop of wine or two runs down the side of the bottle - and ends up as a red stain on the white table-cloth. Or... the humidity of the air condenses on the outside of the cold white wine bottle and ends up as stains on the table.

Menu’s new coaster solves the problem – functionally and elegantly – as is traditional to the design company specialising in the combination of good ideas and stylish, Scandinavian design.

Well-thought-out details
The designer Jakob Wagner has thought out the matter thoroughly. His coaster is made of flexible rubber so that both the bottle and the coaster itself stand firm. The bottom is wavy – the bottle stands on the wave crests whereas wine or water settles in the troughs of the waves. So no dripping from the bottle when lifting it to pour!

The coaster is finished with an edge of brushed stainless steel. And, in addition, it is large enough to hold a champagne bottle as well.

On the basis of the motto »Get the most out of your wine!« Menu expands its range of innovative and functional wine accessories these years. Among Menu’s designers in this project, Jakob Wagner is an obvious choice. His design has won several international design awards and is exhibited and sold at museums around the world such as at MOMA, Museum of Modern Art in New York.
