A grapevine rack for your wine
Store your wine on the wall and enjoy the sight of the stylish bottles. Good wine is a great topic of conversation – and the design firm Menu’s new wall-mounted wine rack is sure to attract attention.
Designer Jakob Wagner was inspired by the coiled and branching grapevines, the mother of all wines: “The form is a balance between organic freedom and strict design”, Wagner comments. “The chaos of nature versus human order”.
And it certainly takes on a fascinating appearance, as the bottles seemingly waft a few centimetres from the wall.
For all types of wine bottles
Menu’s wine rack is available in two styles. The first is made of fibreglass reinforced nylon, coated in synthetic black rubber. The second is made of high lustre aluminium. Both can be mounted on the wall with two screws and can hold up to six bottles – and they safely hold ordinary wines, slim dessert wine bottles and plump champagne bottles.
Jakob Wagner is the man behind a great number of Menu’s wine accessories, whose designs are all based on the motto: “Get the most out of your wine”. Wagner has also been awarded several international design prizes, and his products are displayed and sold in museums around the world, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
