The Ciabrelli farm is run directly by Antonio Ciabrelli; it was given to him in 1976 by his father Raffaele, which began the wine production in bottles. The Ciabrelli Farm is located in the borough of Castelvetere (Benevento), the centre of the Sannita wine farming. It is a company that has aimed from the beginning to re-discover the ancient grapevines; it stretches on an area of about 5 hectares all in the same borough of residence. Currently they produce six types of wines, two D.O.C. and four I.G.T., therefore aiming at top quality productions. The wines of Ciabrelli farm is a rare example of an ancient tradition, besides its interesting new grafted products and new techniques originating from the ‘Vennerese’ territory. The company produces an average of 500 quintals of grapes, obtaining 350 hectolitres of wine, 200 DOC and 150 I.G.T. The variety of wines of the Ciabrelli Farm has improved and diversified, it is increasingly appreciated by the gourmets, wine tasters and consumers.
Tasting note
Carved by the waters of the river framed by the heat and sunny hills covered with vineyards, the Fattoria Ciabrelli in the vineyards of Cesine Contrade Fragneto and land lying between the 150 m above sea level, has given the falanghina its natural habitat. Excellent wine for a large and persistent falanghina supported by a fresh hot plot. Its color is straw yellow with green tints, brilliant. The fragrance is a bouquet subtle and blunt, dry, fresh and fragrant.
